Extras
Do your carpets need more than just cleaning?

We use an advanced stain removal process to address carpet stains that can’t be removed with pre-spotting and/or cleaning. These include stains caused by wine, coffee, pet urine, glue, paint, ink and nail polish, to name a few.

Tuft & Weave offers a spot dyeing service to repair discolouration of your carpet. Colour loss can be caused by harsh chemicals commonly found in DIY carpet cleaning products and sometimes by using advanced stain removal. Spot dyeing is sometimes necessary to repair damage caused by cheap cleaning products used by inferior carpet cleaning services.

For the ultimate in carpet protection, ask us about our best-in-class and environmentally friendly solvent-based or water-based carpet protection service. Not only is it completely safe for children and pets, it provides an effective barrier against re-soiling, abrasive dust, and water and oil-based stains.

Pet urine stain and odour remediation is a specialised treatment designed to repair damage caused by your four-legged friend. Carpet steam cleaning or dry cleaning won’t remove urine stains or offensive odours effectively because the uric salts trapped in the carpet pile can be reactivated by moisture and humidity.

We’re available to talk to you about available options and help you decide on the best remediation approach for your carpet.

Dust mites are tiny insects, too small to be seen by the naked eye, that are the most common allergen-producing organism found in homes. They live in carpets, upholstered furniture, bed pillows and mattresses. The enzymes in their faeces and their hard shells can cause dermatological and respiratory allergies in humans, such as eczema and asthma. In fact, as much as 90 per cent of the population can experience allergy-based symptoms as a result of dust mite allergens.

Tuft & Weave provides a safe and effective way to control dust mite allergens. We offer the Responsible Care System®, an allergy cleaning system that eliminates dust mites from the home. Because it is derived from renewable plant source surfactants, it’s non-toxic to humans, animals and plants.

To further reduce the likelihood of an allergic response to dust mites, we also apply Allergy Relief Treatment during the cleaning process. Allergy Relief Treatment is an aqueous solution that contains a powerful active ingredient derived from naturally occurring extracts found in fruit seeds and plants. Application of the solution can help reduce annoying allergic symptoms for up to six months.
